Guild Wars 2

I hit the represent button and it does not work. I thought, maybe it’s lagged. I sat there… waited… waited some more, pressed the button a thousand times and nothing.

Maybe this information has something to do with my problem.

I joined a guild on a server and represented them (it worked). I transfered to another server without leaving the guild. I got invited to another guild and wanted to represent them since im on a new server now. I didn’t want to leave the other guild.

Oh, and I also unrepresented myself from the first guild and am now trying to represent the 2nd guild.

Try this:

1. Logout (as in the logout button not the ‘X’ or ‘Exit to Desktop’ selection)
2. Wait a minute or two
3. Login back
4. Try it again. If it still doesn’t work…
5. Move to a different zone/map
6. Try it again.
7. If it still doesn’t work… try to repeat and see.

What happened to me was just that, I moved to a different map/zone and tada, I can represent again. Others are reporting that moving to PvP areas (sPvP or WvW) works best.

I had this only in Lion’s Arch in Elona’s Reach so far. Guess it is because of the high population or some sort of stuff.
