I would love exploring the world so much more if we could have first person camera view as an option. The world of Tyria is a very beautiful and detailed world. You are missing out on a lot of the detail when using a wide angle 3rd person camera position. Right now I like to explore with the camera in as tight as it will go and close to level so I can really see the details in the environment. However, with this angle your character ends up blocking everything directly in front of you and you end up staring at his backside.

Please add option for 1st person camera view. It seems like it would be a simple change.

While there is no first person view. If you open up the options menu there is a tilt option (don’t remember exactly what its called) that lets you slide it left or right so that when you zoom in your character is actually off-centre and not in the way.

They need to add this ASAP espercially with come of the close quarters combat in buildings, you cant see whats attacking you. This needs to make a comeback really soon.

Seriously. Why did they leave out this choice?

There are too many things wrong with the GW2 interface. Basic modern principles of mmo gaming interfaces have been excluded such as FIRST PERSON VIEW, floating chat tabs and so much more it is mind boggling.

Fighting and exploring in first person view is a basic gaming principle that should have NEVER been left out.
