I’ve been standing here in gendarran for a while playing on the TP. I have not been inactive, yet I got a notice about “Resume active play or you will be kicked”. bug!

I don’t think that’s a bug. You can’t seem to be AFK anywhere for an indefinite period of time.

Just click outside the TP window now and then. The TP is a kind of external webbrowser application and the client often don’t notices actions in the TP. Try for example to make a screenshot when the TP has the focus, it doesn’t work, you have to click somewhere else first.

I clearly wasn’t afk. I was clicking and entering numbers multiple times a second in the TP.
you can’t take screenshots when TP is focused? O.o but screenshot is a OS function and has nothing to do with GW2… to the testingmobile!

If not mistaken, mouse actions does not count towards afk timer reset, neither does jumping if not wrong, autowalking don’t walk either (my experience), seem you have to do some kind of active movement or use some skills not to get kicked..

Typing doesn’t count as activity either. A while ago I ended up chatting in guild chat for a while and I got the message. Might have been doing some TP browsing as well.

I don’t really see it as a big deal. If you are not actually AFK then you could just do something and avoid getting kicked off.

I can object: autorunning does prevent you from being kicked due to inactivity. If you ever see anyone autorunning into a corner, this is what’s going on.

I can object: autorunning does prevent you from being kicked due to inactivity. If you ever see anyone autorunning into a corner, this is what’s going on.

for some places/activities this doesnt always work, like crabtoss.

As far as not being able to take screenshots, yes it’s an OS ‘feature,’ but some games like GW2 include a screenshot function bound to the printscreen button. I think the TP is capturing all input while it’s considered the active window in the game, and it functions more like a browser than your inventory tab.

I meant the ingame screenshot function from GW2, where you also see in the chat-window that a screenshot has been taken and saved.

The OS function only pastes your screen into the clipboard.
