Guild Wars 2

I’m coming from these two threads below (but neither of them are in the BUGS section and this is definitely a bug):

How does it trigger? Well during huge battles in WvW or Edge of the Mists, the sound will simply cut out or turn into a small hum. There is no way to fix this issue until you exit the program and then restart it.

Is there a fix or maybe patch coming for this soon?

If it’s really the old “alarm bell” sound bug, there is a work around. Just reduce the audio quality to fast.

I’ll try this, though it’s not a permanent fix. Is there anything going on to fix it?

So yeah. Back again. This didn’t work. :/

Also, not only person having this problem. Here is a post on it from Reddit. They falsely identified it as a Memory Leak.

Is this the right place to get a dev/tech support response or no?

I’m also getting a click through my audio whenever I start up the game in windows 10, is this also related to this bug? I don’t get it with any other game I start, just with gw2.

Hope they fix the sound glitch though soon, keep getting it more often now.

The sound bug is soo bad on Windows 10 that I can’t even use the task manager or taskkill command from the command prompt to close out the program.
