Guild Wars 2

Spent about an hour fighting through the Fire Temple solving all of its riddles. We get to the Champion mob, it glitches out and clips into the ceiling. We pull it back down, kill it, and lo and behold, the chest can’t be looted.

We wasted an hour on this with no reward. Please fix it.

The reward for Gort’s Pit in Kessex Hills is also unresponsive. The chest is there once Gort removes the rocks on the path after the Ettins are defeated, but you can’t even interact with it at all. Not as big of a ride there, but still an issue. I reported with /bug in game already, but I suppose it doesn’t hurt to post it here as well.

I think I was in your group Stellus.2591 that helped take down Champion Rhendak the Crazed, and yes, none of us could get a reward from the locked chests.

Yep, I was on Pakonka – my Norn Warrior. It was fun getting there, but totally disappointed with the end result. Here’s hoping they fix it and then maybe we can have another go at it!

I read the update notes, but I can’t remember the name of the event line that leads to this. Was this fixed in the latest update?

Just did this event today (8th of Sep) and Rhendak’s loot it’s still broken, the chests at the end won’t open and the body only dropped a white equip.

Same here. I have done this twice today and the chest opened not once, nor did any other chests spawn as other players think usually happens. This is irritating given we’ve wasted a large amount of time doing this mini-dungeon.

Fix soon please.

I was able to open the chest yesterday, but when I tried it today on the same character no loot chest spawned. (the one that’s always visible never works, btw).
