Guild Wars 2

I know kitten well that this was taken out a few (by few, I mean last year) updates ago and the kitten thing is back in the game. Not sure if this is a bug, someone messed with the coding in the wrong spot, or what, but it’s annoying as all get out.

Those of you that don’t know what I’m talking about, it’s this: upon reaching a defeated state the camera starts to slowly rotate around your character’s body.

Now this wouldn’t be an issue except for the fact that they updated with a patch saying that once you move the view yourself, this no longer should happen. It’s happening. It starts right back up again.

I should say that this was in a fractal and not the game world (ie regular pve), not sure if it has anything to do with it but there it is.

Noticed it too. Really annoying. If I’m dead and have a reason to stay dead for some time (dungeon), I usually sort inventory and salvage/sell things, not watch a black and white movie; that rotation actually distracts and makes me want to hold the camera manually or alt-tab out of it.

I was about to report this as well. It is very annoying when you try to chat or manage inventory and so I also end up just alt-tabbing to avoid screwing with my eyes.

Regression testing: who needs it?

Would you please make this behavior an option? It makes me disoriented and dizzy like vertigo. Although it’s definitely not a seizure, it’s similar to how some people with epilepsy are affected by flashing lights — it is really causing a physical response — it’s not simply a matter of “I don’t like it”.
