I notice when you use the pass by double clicking to go into the Royal Terrace, it removes your weapon skills; you need to press weapon swap to get it back. Entering the terrace normally does not do this.

I guess there’s a security check to get in there too? Not that it matters since you really don’t need a weapon in there but I thought it looked kinda distracting.

It’s always worked like that — clicking the pass gives you a bundle (you hold the scroll in your hand). In other words, it’s not a bug; it’s the intended behavior. Some of the behaviors were changed later, so there might be some inconsistencies.

Short story: not a bug.

as Was Na said, it’s not so much that your skills are hidden, but rather you’re holding a bundle that needs to be dropped.
But it’s nice to see it brought up, because it’s needless behavior, regardless of it being intentional. It server no purpose other than being an annoyance to some people

How does one enter the Terrace, ‘normally’, without the Pass? Either one must double-click the Pass to enter, or one is already holding the Pass/bundle to enter…as far as I know.

You can walk through the gate as long as the item is in inventory (shared or personal).

Really! I did not know that. Cool.
