I’m not getting the AOE Torment on my heals as a thief. I’ve heard it works with Mesmer and Engy, is this a bug or intended?

Edit: It does not work with the Withdraw sill, it might not be a problem with the rune but with the skill just not counting as a heal itself.

There is another thread that has a similar problem but with a food item.

Just tried over and over, in combat and out of combat and it still isn’t working with my thief, but the war right beside me has it working fine.

Are you using a race or a profession healing ability ?

Confirmed working with Hide and Shadows and Signet of Malice. Does not work with Withdraw however which sucks kitten . C’mon Anet, with the ICD there’s no reason it shouldn’t work with Withdraw too.

Yeah, especially your bug report should be fixed within the next two days.

i think 20 seconds is too much anyways. i expected a 10-15 sec icd. but yeah i agree that it should work on all heals!

Not letting this slide under the mat so back to the top, I edited the original post with more information.

Looked into this more and it does apply the torment but only at the end of the evade so you would have to run away, turn around and use withdraw backwards towards the enemy making this rune completely useless on a Thief. Plz add it to the start of the heal not the end.

Not the rune is useless, but thief’s heal.
