Runes of tormenting adds a total of 45% increase in duration. The thief’s Skale Venom has a base duration of 5 seconds. I have a Condition Duration bonus of 80%. The 45% from the runes should give a 2.25 second boost. The 80% Condition Duration should give a 4 second boost. Together, the total boost on Torment should be 6.25 seconds or 6 seconds being generous. Add that to the Skale Venom skill of 5 seconds, the total duration should be at least 11. My applied Torment only lasts 9 seconds. I am aware the tooltip is unaffected by certain runes but when attacking a monster, the duration is still 9 seconds. I tested different scenarios, one being with the armor on with NO Condition Duration bonus from food (40% bonus) and then WITH the 40% bonus. Both times Torment’s duration from my skills were 9 seconds. I know Torment itself does not have a cap because using the #6 rune’s skill, my heal applied torment for over 9 seconds. Is there a cap on my skills or is my math wrong? : \

There is a 100% condition duration cap.
It lasts for 10 seconds, it just shows 9 seconds when you hover over it because it is immediately less than 10 seconds.
Ahh, so specific condition duration and overall condition duration cannot exceed 100%. That explains it. I thought just the condition duration under the Hero menu was capped at 100%. Thank you very much!
