Even though it has always been bad…. It’s even worse since the last big update.

I never have problems with rush hitting when I’m going against a mob on flat terrain. If, however, I’m trying to Rush to a structure (such as a graveling mound in AC), it doesn’t work. Also, pebble in the road = stuck on the pebble forever.

You have obviously never done pvp, where your target is not always going to be standing still or moving directly towards you like the simple AI mobs of PvE.

For the past weeks, my experiment result on stationary PvE mob (it stands still!!) is:
1.) Rush (always) misses if you are out of combat.
2.) Rush is much more likely to hit if you are in combat.

Out of Combat:
So funny when you Rush to enemy and you run pass/through the enemy just to swing your sword to hit a fly behind! (no, you actually hit nothing)

In Combat:
Your warrior will rush to enemy and NOT pass through it even when the animation is still showing you running/rushing; after the running animation finishes, it hits as the sword swings.

On a side note, Rush will cause the warrior to stick to the moving enemy (like a homing missile) until the full rushing/running animation finishes. Something odd in my opinion… it’d make more sense if the warrior swing the sword as soon as it arrives at the enemy. but it seems to have become a unique strategy to exploit how this skill works…

Are you targeting the mob before starting Rush? The only time Rush doesn’t hit a mob for me (in PVE) is if I don’t have it targeted.

Rush is broken and always has been glitchy, it needs to be more like the rush version on the fiery greatsword, a run then leap which gets you into combat. Or more like the charge of the warrior in WOW where its faster, part of the issue I think is how slow it is given the distance it travels. Guardian Leap while not perfect hits way more often because it isnt affected by minute terrain variations and is a much quicker animation.

Generally fails to hit for me as well.

For people in here, do you have melee assist on or off?
