I was told to do lots of stuff in the level 70 arc that did not make any sense at all. Discontinuities everywhere.

Like what? This is not helpful unless you give examples.

At one point, Trahearne and I said at the end of a mission we were going to confront an Orrian mesmer that had infiltrated our camps (we never did, but the story later said we did). Also, we then immediately went to rescue someone from krait in Timberline Falls and it was said we had met that person already and been around the krait in Timberline Falls already (neither of which had happened).

Perhaps, the Sticky in GD will be helpful.

C7 step 2-4 were missing. We never dealt with Syska. I just did this within the past month.

Can the devs revert my story so I can play it? I already complete the personal story because I got impatient.

No, there is no way to ‘revert’, or anything else, your Personal Story. You can, however, create another character and play through the story to experience the missing chapters/episodes/steps.
