Guild Wars 2

I have not been able to get this achievement since SAB came back. My boyfriend and I complete whatever world and zone is needed for the day and we NEVER receive the achievement. I’ve tried completing it later in the day and I still cant get it. Is this happening to anyone else? I would think it was just me, but my boyfriend hasn’t been able to get this achievement either.

EDIT: I’ve also noticed that there is no chest after completing the zone, even though I haven’t completed the zone in +24hrs.

Are you waiting out the timer after killing the boss, and loading into the next zone? The daily and bouncy chest are only awarded then, not when you kill the boss.

Also, some people have reported that they didn’t get the daily if they wandered too far from where they fought the boss before the timer ran out, so it’s best to stay close while you wait.

Yeah, I wait out the timer and I don’t leave the boss/chest area. I’m not sure what the issue is.

I haven’t even been in this year, but are you completing the level on Normal Mode, rather than Infantile? I can’t remember, but that might make a difference.

are you staying near the chest after killing the boss? if you leave the chest area the game doesn’t award the achievement for some reason, there another thread in here with the same issue and the solution.

I’m going in again, but i just had this issue happen as well.

Gonna see if it persist or was just a stroke of bad luck.

Edit: Could have been bad luck or being out of target ranged, seems to have triggered for me this go round.

I was and did the first time. Pretty sure its a range issue as i had jumped onto a nearby part of the cliff-face the first time.

Did you get event credit for finishing the zone? Strange though. I guess I’ll test it out tomorrow after reset.

Yep looted every bauble and the daily chest then just left the chest area for a cliff face nearby.
