Guild Wars 2

When I bought the slingshot, it didn’t add to my count. I was 5/7 at the time. After getting the Moto Breath, I’m stuck at 6/7.

I have:

Stick
Slingshot
Bomb
Whip
Candle
Shovel
Moto Breath

and the heart and 500 Bag, but I don’t think those count.

Same here, I bought the slingshot last and I’m on 6/7. I have the same items as you

I have the exact same problem. I met someone last night who said they achieved 7/7 without the slingshot… So, my guess is that the achievement is bugged.

Yep I have everything else, but when I got the slingshot it didn’t count it for some reason, Please put out a fix for this, I want my title! T_T

I have encountered the same problem as the rest of you. I’m stuck at 6/7 even though I’ve gained the digger, bombs, slingshot, torch, whip, bauble purse, and elite skill. After much frustration, I thought that maybe if I went in with an alt and bought one of the upgrades it would count it… didn’t work. Please fix this GW2 staff!!!!

Aye. Same here. I was so hoping for the full achievement as well, heh. It’ll probably get fixed, though.

Got it!! when I got the candle it was at the store in zone 3… just came with an alt and got the candle on the store at zone 2 (free) and the achievement popped!

Unlock the achievement by getting the candle for free… with an alt

Any suggestions for when the candle on an alt doesn’t work?

Try another alt? (you can take a lvl 2 in there, just make a new asura, get him to the free candlestick and try again) if that doesn’t work, you can transfer some unconverted baubles to them and buy the cheaper upgrades again.

I believe the purse is considered an upgrade, since you start with the stick.

I tried all my alts, ran them all to the store in zone 2 for free candle, even played two of them fully through and got every single item. 6/7 still.

Bugger! I suggest a ticket to make sure they fix this before the SAB goes away soon.

Wowzers, still not fixed – I got no credit when I bought slingshot – tried coming back with alt to get zone 2 free candle, but no go…

The slingshot apparently counts as a World 2 upgrade, which would be why you got no credit for the W1 achievement with it. Purse or heart SHOULD work, though – not sure why they aren’t. ): I got this achievement successfully during the first release, so I really have no other advice.

I got the achievement when I bought the purse.

The stick is not a bought item, so it shouldn’t count towards the 7.
