I have completed the story and received the “Recipe: Machined Weapon Core”, which had a requirement of 400 of any of the armour crafters (Armoursmithing, Leatherworker, Tailor). Initially I thought it was weird for the armour crafters to get a Weapon recipe, but I consumed it. I went to check it out at the station and the recipe was not there (and yes I am 500 leatherworker).

I’m wondering if this is a bug or has not yet been connected to the crafters. I’m assuming this recipe is needed to craft the Machined weapons for the Elite Specialisation collection.

That rune is Superior Rune of the Earth, think Anet misplaced it’s link for the moment.

I have the same thing as well. It’s not appearing in either my weaponsmith or armorsmithy. Yet it says I know the recipe. And yea I don’t get why it’s listed as armor type crafting.

I have the same issue, I was alarmed by the fact that I didn’t get a flashy “recipe learned” animation. The item just disappeared without doing anything.

Well that explains a lot. I’m having the same issues.

Same here, I hope I didn’t just waste it… also did anybody notice that there was no Vision Crystal contained in the loot box that you get at the end? I swear it said “contains… Vision Crystal”

Yeah, no vision crystals. It did say there would be one. :/

Not only do I not know what happened to this item when I clicked it, the text is misleading. It says double-click to acquire the recipe. Recipes are an item. THEY say double-click to CONSUME. I totally expected to get a recipe from the item, not have it be consumed and learned. Though I don’t know if it’s learned as I can’t find it.

Same issue, I cannot find it. It does seem odd that it’s listed as an armor crafting discipline

Had the same issue. It gave me a recipe for an exotic rune with no stats in the tooltip.

I got the same issue today. I find it rather odd the item even exists, considering there is a collection for Machined weapons.

I had the exact same problem and proceeded to panic when it vanished. I hope they offer a replacement because I had NO idea that it was going to disappear like that without offering a choice.

This bug is still not fixed. I clicked on the recipe with my armorsmith and I got nothing from it.

I dont think the recipe is necessary any more. I am making a Machined Weapon as it is, and a Machined Weapon Core is not required to make one. So, they might have removed it? I dont know otherwise.
