I can’t kill the purple assassin that’s standing on top of a tall rock near checkpoint 2. Dulfy’s guide says that you’re supposed to throw bombs at him, but my bombs path downwards instead of forwards like in his video. Slingshot doesn’t hit him either, no matter where I stand. I can’t find any way to get up there to kill him with a melee weapon.

Does anyone else have the same problem? My character is male sylvari, in case that affects the bomb throw pathing.

You can kill him, but you have to be in Infantile mode and stand on the rainbow bridge. But the more concerning matter is that virtually all of the old SAB achievements seem to be bugged, since I followed Dulfy’s guide for w2z2 and didn’t get any of the achievements I was missing. (Baubles, secret rooms, assassins)

How do you kill him from the rainbow bridge? Neither bombs nor slingshots hit him, no matter where I stood. I spent about 100 baubles trying every position I could and nothing worked.

Have to agree to the bugginess though. I’ve been working on the w2z2 bauble achi for a few hours now and at the dart maze room the infantile clouds stopped spawning. Haven’t seen a single one after that, even though Dulfy’s guide shows them all over the place.

So a nice person told me in game how you can kill that particular assassin. If you stand right on the closest edge of the high point of the rainbow you can hit him. Doesn’t change the fact that the bomb trajectory is wonky, but you can at least get the achievement this way.

Same problem for me. I can’t reach that Assassin with anything because the bombs just plummet to the ground. (And of course I tried this in normal mode, so I don’t even have any clouds to work with…)

I think it’s only doable on infantile mode. However, with the addition of Master of Decor, you can just skip it if you’re only going for the meta. Master of Decor in World 2 is pretty easy.

I have the same problem, i’m gonna try the Infantile mode now. Spend over 200 bubbles only for that purple assassin.
For anybody else with the problem, the assassin in the picture seems to be the problem.

i’ve arrived to kill by spending a bomb on the rock in front of him, try this maybe.

You can kill him from Infantile bridge with slingshot you have to target him via rock in front of him.
But I see another problem… I used a guide on dulfy.. yes it is oldest but I killed all these assasins on dulfy (and more) but no achievement for it. I followed the path with signs killed the assasins on snow (it is not on dulfy guide)
Where is hide the last one? :-)

I completed this today. To kill that assassin I stood on top of the chest on the top floor and used slingshot. In addition, there are about 100 assassins now, not 90 as there were last time.

In the new shortcut with the clouds, there’s a building kind of hidden with another assassin.
