Have completed Sabetha multiple times. Can confirm 100% that at least two of those were without deaths, possibly others, and have not received credit for The Eternal.
Both times were after multiple tries. Both were on instances that were opened at Sabetha (ie. didn’t do the whole raid in one go). Different characters. Neither were my “first kill”, but the second was my first kill after reset for this week.
