Why is ArenaNet condoning leeching so that people can get their achievements on the Scarlet fight. The latest Living Story seems to have had the bunch of leechers escalate proportionately. In the last section, many people would enter Lions Arch and stand at the entrance, leeching the rewards. This time they are standing just under Scarlet and afking to get the Achievement whilst the few try to get the fight done for them. That is apparently a sweet “safe spot” and you don’t get hit by anything she does.

Surely the object of Achievements is to actually DO the Achievement, by using your skills and expertise, and not stand out of the way and get it with no skill required.

I think people should not be able to find a safe spot to stand and not get damage so that they can get the achievement. For the rest of the group trying to do it with skill, the leechers ruin everything because then we do not have enough damage to actually mostly down the phases in time. Very disappointing that some of us try …. others just get given. This nullifies the whole reason one tries to get achievements – for the sense of “wow I did that”.

I will have to say I was disappointed to see people standing AFK, face to the wall, during the fight on the Airship. Sadly, I have not been in a fight that has completed it, yet.

What burns me the most on it, is many of them are forcing players into Overflows, that everyone knows break more often than the local instances….

If I heard / saw any of my Guildies doing this I would kick them w/o even thinking about it, I would recommend others do the same…

The game has enough problems in it, last thing we need is to compete with players kittening up the already kittened up game…
