I am trying to use cooking crafting and my salt is not showing up. I have 109 salt packets but for some reason they are not showing up in discovery mode. I can use them in recipes I already know.

Are there still recipes that you have not discovered with salt?
Because after you have discovered all possible recipes using a particular item, it is then removed from the list.

Yes there are a few I am only 159 in cooking.

I checked I am missing 2 recipes.

Of the recipes using Packet of Salt directly, “Bowl of Watery Mushroom Soup” requires a recipe purchased from a specific vendor, and the following recipes aren’t classified as Discoveries but as innate knowledge for Chefs:

Bowl of Baker’s Dry Ingredients
Pile of Salt and Pepper
Pile of Tangy Seasoning

There are only 3 uses for Salt in the Discovery menu itself; if you have all 3 of these, then it is correctly no longer displayed:

Cup of Potato Fries
Grilled Mushroom
Mashed Potato
