Salvage bug.
Keeping track of every action of every player in every server for an indetermined amount of time would require TONS of storage space, not to talk about the bandwith to keep the servers and the storage communicated. Specially in a game size of gw2.
Servers are kitten enough as they are. No, thank you.
I bet you will change your mind when you lose an item. How about your knowledge about needed resources to make this possible? Your job is about system management? Or you say no coz you like say no? For your information, after insist all the more, a GM asked me about exact time when bug ocurred, then it’s not so impossible, smart guy.
Another point… I bought gems with real money. Then I bought BL kit with gems. BL kit failed. Is this a scam?
Of course, I didn’t bought all of my BL kits with gems but if they have no way to know if BL kit failed I supose also we have no way to know if was a kit bought with gems or not…

This will just end up being another one of a-nets “oops my bad” moments where they claim that the drop rates, salvage rates, and getting credit for completed events were inadvertently changed, and even then they will only admit it when the mountain of evidence is too large to ignore.
Love the game, played GW1 from launch to the launch of GW2 but am increasingly disappointed with the way Anet has handled the majority of issues with GW2 especially the salvage bug and now drop rates. Perfect example is FotM daily where just recently a fractal run would fill my characters inventory nearly full but as of this past week not even filling 1/4 of her inventory. I run fractals every day and yes the drop rate and quality of the items dropped have fallen beyond a reasonable level of ughh. Like my grandfather used to say “don’t pee on my leg and tell me it’s raining”
