So I like clearing my inventory from my bank screen sometimes, and this occasionally involves using right click > use on salvage kits in my inventory. After the 16/03/2015 patch (stab change, camera change, many ‘features’), salvage kits used in this manner disappear entirely no matter how many stacks they have left. This includes mystic salvage kits, basic salvage kits, and presumably every other type of stacking salvage kit. I unfortunately found this out by losing a 249 stack mystic salvage kit T_T

It is deposited in your bank. This happens with any use item when used in the bank interface.

This has been around since launch.

EDIT: Your Mystic Kit is in the bottom left corner of your second bank tab.

Oh my gosh I just noticed this too <_<. So not as bad a bug, but still clearly not intended and pretty annoying to boot.

You can see right in the video that the Salvage Kit moved to the first empty spot in your Bank storage.

Unfortunately, for some things, ‘Right Click’ to Use acts exactly the same as ‘double-click’, which we know moves anything to the bank if the bank interface is open.

I though I lost two Black Lion salvage kits this way. They seemingly disappeared.

Si I came to report the bug, I read the thread, and I went back to the game to check better.

I found them inside the bank in a closed tab.

Why the is the client sending items to closed bank tabs? It should ignore tabs that I close, send them only to the bank if there’s any open tab with free slots. Why else would I close the tabs other than items I try to put in the bank not being sent to those tabs?

Being able to toggle the display of bank tabs, is only for moving/looking at items from one tab to another without having to scroll. It has nothing to do with ‘opening/closing’ the tabs to inventory placement.

I never thought the bank tabs were closed — the ‘triangle right/down’ mechanic is widely used for navbars and other things to simply hide stuff; doesn’t mean it’s ‘blocked’.

I close some tabs so that i can focus on e.g. just the tab that has my ascended rings. Plus, I wouldn’t want them to be ‘blocked’ because currently it’s too easy to accidentally close them when moving a lot of items from the bank, while a filter is in use; after the last item in the tab is moved, the cursor ends up right over a spot that closes the tab.
