I’m not entirely sure if this is a bug, but anything soul bound to my character doesn’t appear in the trade window and it cannot be salvaged with ANY salvage kit.

A bug or am I a muppet?

I’d love to know about it, too. Is this the game system that those soulbond will be a waste after used?

I’ve noticed that I can salvage some soul bound items, but not others, so it doesn’t appear to be an issue with binding.

The pieces I cannot salvage, I also cannot sell, which makes no sense or a lot of sense depending on how you look at it.

It’s most likely that these problematic soulbound items were bought from a karma vendor. I guess this measure is in place to keep a high level character from farming karma, going back to a low level karma vendor and salvaging equipment for materials.

You can npc and salvage coin bought items, but those bought with karma you can’t.
