So anet, do elaborate why this was ever implemented, give me at least ONE reason what this is supposed to accomplish besides having people rage quit the sprint mini game.
There is no advantage at all to start late, if anything it’s a disadvantage.
How is it that when you start with a disadvantage, you also get punished for it?
You think teleporting people straight to the end was a good idea?
It’s so much fun right, joining a mini game and have everything done for you and then only to find out you get nothing for it.

I got first place in my last game and I was present from the very begin, yet it said “Due to a late start, no reward will be given or whatever, we don’t know how to kitten you off”.

That’s odd. never happened to me. Have you gotten the title though, I mean after that? There’s people using a short cut at the last turn/bend of the race. It’s right where there’s a Lightning shard/gem. You take that and then take a few step back to the ledge (estimate where the chest would be) and jump that ledge, making you end up behind the finish line. Cross the line and presto, you finish. Only really works if you’re 2nd or 3rd.
