as the title says I just tried entering a sanctum sprint and I get put into a game of PvP. Preeeety sure that isn’t supposed to happen

Every time I talk to the Aspect Master at the top of Zephyr Sanctum and confirm that yes I want to play Sanctum Sprint I get taken to the Legacy of Foefire PvP map.

This is insanely annoying, I would love to experience this new activity but the game won’t let me… I don’t PvP so I can’t think why it would do this.

I get taken to Assault on the Capricorn. I am currently unable to play this content because of this bug.

it happened once to me too …. but i played two round of pvp after that i went to lion arch and returned to talk to the Aspect Master and i can go to Sanctum Sprint

I’d like to investigate this issue if you happen to have answers for the following questions:

• Were you queued for PvP? Did you simply click join Sanctum Sprint and load into a PvP match?
• Did you happen to check what server it put you in?
• Was it a Custom Arena or a standard hot-join?
• Did you have any friends in the match it put you in?

I wasn’t queued for a PvP game no. It was a standard join and no I didn’t have friends in the game.

I was just able to reproduce it. My server is Desolation, both times I was in an overflow though. When I spoke to the guy, I didn’t instantly click “play” I went through the “more details” chat and at the end I clicked play.

DrOstler is right. Can be reliably reproduced by going completely through the additional details, then clicking play. Doesn’t matter if overflow or not.

I was not queued and no friends in the match.

This happened to me once yesterday. Instantly after I clicked to join Sanctum Sprint I was sent to an sPvP match on the Battle of Kyhlo map.

I was wondering about this, as I haven’t done PvP before, and had nowhere to run. Each time I tried this, i ended up in “raid on the capricorn” which did not look like a race at all. Tried it twice now, and same place both times.
