Scout NPC’s are the characters who direct you to heart events in the area if you converse with them.

After the map finishes listing the locations while the scout npc talks, it exits out, regardless of whether the voice acting has ran its course. Before, it waited for the npc to finish talking, then closed back out.

This bug has been found on every scout npc I’ve encountered in the game throughout numerous zones, and I presume all of them to be affected.

Feel free to relate or discredit this bug I’ve been encountering based on your own experiences.

I have also encountered this problem with every NPC Scout. I don’t think this was there before the Tuesday 12th November update.

I think they either kludged, screwed up or overcompensated when they fixed this bug.

Really, all of the long-standing bugs they can’t be bothered to fix, plus the new ones they introduce every two weeks, are gradually making this game unplayable. When it comes to keeping the playerbase happy, I really doubt that any kind of new gem store crap they can come up with will make up for a buggy GUI. Unplayable = nobody will play it. Where will their precious Black Lion RNG store be then?

I’ve just started playing, and seeing this issue as well. It’s quite annoying because the information can be valuable for me as a new player.

Until this bug is fixed, is there some other place I can read the dialog for all scouts?

Yup, same thing for me. Some of them barely finish two sentences. Others finish all but their last. Others finish the whole paragraph.

Regardless, it is kind of annoying as I use every scout I see for, well, the thing that they were made for… information. A fix would be great!
