Guild Wars 2

Since a couple of months ago, my screen in gw2 has started flickering (not always randomly it seems). I don’t know how to describe it properly, but when I move the camera, or my character, everything in the game flickers a bit.
Now with the release of HoT, everytime I go to a HoT area the game is constantly flickering, it creates something like motion sickness so it’s really hard to play in those places, while still flickering randomly in the rest of Tyria.
One solution to this is to play the game in window mode, but my game frames per second slow down a lot when I do that. Is there any other solution to this problem?

I had this problem yesterday after a graphics driver update for my nvidia GT 750M. It would flicker when I rotated the camera and sometimes would freeze up still flickering and I’d have to tab out for a few seconds to let it correct itself.

Is there any chance your driver updated just before you started having the issue? I fixed my problem by rolling back the driver in Device Manager, then manually downloading and installing the 2nd most recent version.

when my screen start to flicker like this i minimize my game then i maximize again .. it fix the issue for a while .. perhaps because it refresh the memory.. but i will eventually crash with the OOM error … so if i’m doing a big event this trick buy me some time i will crash anyway. So when it start to flicker , i close my game then restart .. then i’m good for a hour or two.

Thanks for the replies. I am running gw2 in a qosmio x300-156, so there is no graphic driver update that works here :s The only way I can “fix” the flickering temporarily is by minimizing and maximizing the game. It’s really weird, this problem only appeared after a recent update in gw2.
