I wanted to bring it to Anet’s attention that the basic shelf bought from the furniture merchant and the simple shelf built with scribing using said basic shelf are utterly identical. I assume this is an oversight based on the material cost required to upgrade your shelf to a 100% identical shelf, which in turn is required to make any of the better “library” shelves in the future.
I genuinely hope that you guys are observing the response to scribing and considering scaling things back so that it’s more manageable to personalize your space, but this in particular seemed like an oversight. I figure either the simple shelf should look somehow different from the basic shelf, or shouldn’t be a step required in advancing toward the better shelves when it itself gives you no reward whatsoever.
