Hi,

I think I’ve encountered a bug in the backpack rewards from the HoT story.

I’ve gotten and upgraded the Order of Whispers backpack to exotic with no problems. I went through the story again with a different character. Picked the Priory backpack this time. It was going fine until the last mission where I did not get collection piece unlocked even though it was shown in the rewards.

Was that different character also of the Priory? It looks like Heart and Minds gives a different Dragonvine strap depending on the order of the character. Had that character chosen an order yet?

That might be the issue….I don’t know.

Hm no, the character’s chosen order was OoW. However, I completed the game on a total of 4 different characters. One of which was affiliated with the Priory. Still no Dragonvine strap.

All in all, I don’t think the order you pick in personal story makes a difference here.

Hmm. Ok, but why does each of the different Dragonvine straps come from the same place?

Well, there are no actual pages in the Wiki for Dragonvine Whispers Strap, or Dragonvine Vigil Strap, but the Collection pages indicate they (all 3) come from Heart and Minds.

Maybe, they will be (or are) found elsewhere. /shrug

Hmm that does look like a bug, and you’re sure that’s the character you chose the priory backpiece with?
@ Inculpatus The part in question he needs is only from completing the story mission, as per the description

What I am saying is: To obtain the Dragonvine Whispers Strap, one must complete the story mission in question, Hearts and Minds. To obtain the Dragonvine Vigil Strap, one must obtain the story mission, Hearts and Minds. Same for the Dragonvine Priory Strap.

My question is, how does the game determine which Dragonvine Strap to award for completing the story mission, Hearts and Minds?

Perhaps, the Collection tool-tips are in error…I don’t know.

It depends on which backpiece you chose in the first chapter, so if I choose Priory backpiece, i’ll get the priory based straps and such when I complete the quests.
That’s how it’s worked for the 2 characters ive taken through HoT completely.

I’ve read a few threads/posts about certain rewards missing, such as the Dragonvine Strap.

I don’t remember reading what the CS Team had to say; you can, of course, contact them for assistance (if available).
