Hi,

is this a sort of a bug or have this letters a reason?
I got it today a second time after i purchased the heroic edition via gemshop few months ago.

I just got an Anet email with two heroic chests – no letter of influence unless it is in the chest and I have not opened them yet. Not sure what is going on.

I got two mails. I preordered the CE in 2012 and have not bought any new accounts since then, beyond linking in a new GW1 account a year or so ago. They came to my guardian in Queensdale; she was made at early access launch.

I’m not opening these until ANet says it’s legit to do so.

I just got 2 mails from anet one with the heroic chest, the other with the influence consumable? Is this a bug? I did not buy the heroic edition or anything like that

I got the Heroic Chest and Letter of Influence. I bought Digital Deluxe at launch and have been on the same account since. I’m kind of glad i’m not not the only one that got these as I was getting pretty worried.

I checked my bank account just incase and everything seems fine so hoping this is just a bug on Anets end?

I only received the chest. I had pre-ordered Digital Deluxe in April 2012, and have been on that account since. It’s the only account I have. I don’t remember if I ever received the Heroic Chest then.

Bank account clean here too and no gems have been removed from my GW account.

Strange Came on my Guardian in Rata Sum.

Are we allowed to use them if we got a second? Should we wait to see if this is a legit bug? I did get a second mail for both the influence and gear.. ._.

I (maybe stupidly) just opened it as soon as I got it not really giving it much thought. I doubt anything will happen, if anything it’ll maybe get removed from my account or they will just let us keep it. It is only a GW1 armour set skin, 18 slot box and some XP boosters so it might not be worth their time.

Just gonna have to wait and see I guess. I’ll post here if anything does happen though.

yeah, its apparently a Stress test thing. if you were in the test, and had one of those beta character slots… they just removed the character, and its causing some bug to give those people heroic chests / influence letters.

lel. i didn’t even take part in that stress test, cause we were raiding and that seemed more appealing than pve…

I just received a mail with two heroic chests and another with the letter for the guild influence. I would like to know what to do with the items in the mails. I was in the stress test as well, if that is the cause.

Just received a mail with a letter of influence as well on my account, put in a report just to flag the “odd” behavior.
