couldn’t find anything specifically for this quest in the forum or google. if this was already mentioned somewhere, my bad.

whenever i talk to the undercover seraphs (gallowfields/brisban wildlands) to get the disguise for the quest, i see my character inside the camp for a second, then the brisbane wildlands loadingscreen appears and i get warped to venlin vale, INTO the ground and i cannot leave without wp. i also just saw another player who happened to end up at the same place. i tried this whole thing 3-4 times, restarted the game, tried it once more – it keeps happening.

i’d really like to finish the map but i simply can’t with this bug.
playing on a mac if that’s important.
i already did the quest some time ago on a different character but the same mac without a problem.

can i do something about this or does it have to be fixed?

I can confirm that its not just you who has this bug. Same happened to me when i was trying to complete the map. I also tried it with a character who has completed the map, same result.

This bug is really awkward. Its like someone coded it to trigger that teleport at this location. Maybe it came with the update that day.

Speaking to either of the seraph spies (at seirnan’s camp) puts me underwater, I land close to Aethervolt Labs.

This puts me underwater, under the world.

So while doing “Infiltrate and disrupt Seanan’s Bandits” Located in North West Brisbane Wildlands, when you interact with either Ruppel or Ivy to get your bandit disguise, you are shown to be ported in to the bandit camp, only to then see a loading screen,and find yourself in the water under the map somewhere in Venlin Vale, the other side of the map.

I have 0% on this heart and this is probs my 8th world complete.

i can also verify this happens to me also when trying to get the disguise from either of the npc’s on the same heart quest. “infiltrate and disrupt seanan’s bandits.” can you please fix Arenanet :o

Having the same issue with my elementalist. Ended up under the water near the ooze processors.

-edit- I notice that you are actually placed inside the bandit compound and are then kicked. So, I’m guessing that it’s not the teleport from the npc, directly.

So taking the bandit disguise from Seraph Spy Ruppel to enter the Seanan’s Bandit camp near Gallowfields waypoint in Brisban Wildlands, instead of getting you inside the camp you are getting teleported under the Hidden Lake east from there.

And this is where you get after taking the disguise..

My problem as well for the last two days.

I’m experiencing this bug as well. I’ve talked to both agents, and as soon as I get the disguise and am inside either gate, I get a mapload screen and then I’m in the water under the ground in Venlin Vale. WPs still work, so getting out is not a problem, but it is a huge annoyance and prevents the completion of Briban Wildlands

Got disguise, then entered camp, and immediately teleported to underwater in Venlin Vale.

I just had this problem also. It makes it impossible to get the POI so Map Completion – no way.

You can actually get the POI. The heart is another matter.

Yeah same problem , impossible to do “infiltrate and disrupt Seanan’s bandits”. Everytime I try to wear the disguise I fall in water (undermap at Venlin Vale).

At Seanan’s Bandits (north west, right of Gallowfields Waypoint) whenever we talk to the NPC to teleport inside bandits camp, we get teleported somewhere else, under the map zone.

You’re not the only one. See here and here and here and here.

Although ANet has yet to respond to any of those.

(Also the search function is your friend. Or would be if it worked well.)

This is literally the last thing i need for world completion and i cant get it.I hope it gets fixed soon

I heard that if u swim under the POI you will get it i tried and it said it was above and i could not get it this been going on for me since Monday and its almost Friday

You can swim under the POI and log out and back in then you will get the POI.

Bump this bug is affecting a great number of adventurers trying to finish this heart ><

Just a PSA to add to this: you can still complete the heart. If you have time and don’t want to wait for a fix. While getting the POI is (yes, you can swim directly under it and simply relog, I think it’s basically void jumping, but I don’t know if it’s bannable offense) not exactly corresponding with game mechanics, for the heart you can repeat this event several times:

Remember that the event won’t spawn until mentioned other event is up. Once Robbari is down, Seanan spawns under the gate of the bugged camp after few minutes. He’s, unlike Robbari, a veteran. Just remember to give Seanan space to move away from the gate, because if you attack him right under it, he gets back inside immediately, event fails and failed event doesn’t count to the renown heart. You can still knockback him or pull him away if you think you aggroed too early.

I think this heart got bug 2 3 time.
Please fix this soon.

plz fix Anet im at 99% complete for my world completion and this spot is the only thing i need! when you talk to NPC to go inside you get teleported somewhere else

I know it’s not intended and not really a good thing, but I like getting to see the maps from the outside, and sometimes there’s interesting (to me) things, like parts of the landscape that continue well below everything else. Or back when you could drop out of the Arah Explorable map you could find Zhaitan’s body down there.

Here’s how to get the POI:
1) Talk to the NPC
2) Swim under the camp
3) Log out and back in
You’ll briefly appear inside the camp before the game moves you to outside the gate, which is just long enough to get the POI.

Getting the heart is harder, you have to wait for an event to start in the area, which only seems to happen every 20 minutes or so.

A guildie and I are using Lulleh’s guide to do maps to level her alt. We ran into this bug. We were able to swim to get the poi as described above, but the heart eludes us until this is fixed.

Trying to get into Seanan Bandits area. When you take the disguise you get sent under the map in Venlin Vale.

And ofc it stops our map completion qq
