Sentient Oddity crashing my game
you could try repairing the game client by following the steps here:
https://help.guildwars2.com/hc/en-us/articles/201863008-Repairing-the-Game-Client
the repair process can appear to stop responding, but it will usually complete still if you leave it alone (on my machine it takes roughly 10 mins for the repair to complete and the launcher to appear again).
the not responding status seems to happen if you click away from the repair (like looking at the forum while it’s running), but it doesn’t stop it from doing it’s thing. just leave it until the launcher appears.

So its not a game problem its a client problem? I tried following directions but it didnt work. I think I’m gonna wait it out to see if it works later
I don’t know what the problem is to be honest. it was just a suggestion seeing as you said you used the oddity and it crashed. it could have been a corrupted file, so I suggested the repair.
if you continue to crash I’d suggest making a support ticket

A client crash is pretty much guaranteed to be some sort of client issue, yes.
I’d also suggest that you disable any intrusive software (eg: reshade, memory reading DPS meters) that you have attached to gw2, and see if it can be reproduced also.
Thanks for your help guys. It was one of those things that i tried everything to fix it and in the end all I had to do was restart my pc lol

Yeah, looking at the trace, my guess is that the Lavasoft component loaded into the GW2 process (just like a memory reading DPS meter would be) was mismatched with some other Lavasoft component after a change to it.
Yay, third party code running inside the game, I guess!
