I don’t know how many other players are having the same issue, but for the last 5+ days I’ve attempted to start the chain for the meta event “Kill the Branded devourer queen” for the trait, but every time I go to the Brandwatch Encampment Waypoint for the “Protect Sentinel Whiptail while he finds and tames a siege devourer” event, Sentinel Whiptail is stuck. He will not move, no matter what I do.

I’ve done the “Escort Sentinel Scalebrusher” event several times in a row trying to get it to un-glitch Whiptail, but it has not worked so far and when it did, other problems occurred. The first time the map became ‘dead’ and I was transferred to another “active” map where Whiptail was glitched (again). I was over half way through the chain of events when this happened, and to say I was ‘upset’ would have been an understatement. The second time the event chain worked, Whiptail glitched while chasing the siege devourer and re-spawned back at the camp. Again I was highly upset.

Please, fix these bugged events. I’m becoming frustrated to the point of tears with these broken/bugged/glitched events that are now required for the new trait system. I honestly don’t want to make any new characters because of these headaches. I know I will be told “Just buy the trait” but that’s not the point anymore. I want to enjoy the game, not mindlessly spend coin for something a little bit of work will get me for free (along with the event rewards).

This is STILL bugged.

Just posting here to let everyone know that this still is not fixed. I submitted a bug report so hopefully it gets noticed.

It’s a known bug on the Wiki –
“Sentinel Whiptail will sometimes get stuck in Viper’s Run between Liarum and Sentinel Swiftwrench, blocking event progress.”

He’s stuck – please unstick him! =)

This event has been bugged since Launch. 3 years. I am beginning my list of Bugged since Launch events for the 3 year anniversary in August.
