Guild Wars 2

I’m a little irritated and confused because I’ve been fighting at seraph for a little under half an hour having kill 50 plus bandits and yet they keep respawning despite no events being in the area. Why is this since last time I check it was a seraph base and yet no matter how many I’ve killed or how many seraph I revive the bandits just keep respawning so is this a bug or something im just not understanding?

It the “Defend the Seraph camp until reinforcements arrive” event or its companion event. They have been pretty consistently bugged since launch and no one has even acknowledged that there’s a problem. I am not sure if it runs after launch once before it bugs or if it even gets that far.
