I’m relatively new to this game. However, I don’t think that the bandits that attack the camp that is right next to this waypoint are normal. They seem to respawn at a rate that is similar to an event and the waypoint does not go contested when the camp is under attack. the npcs are getting 2 shotted. I googled this issue and it seems to have been a problem for over a year now. Not sure if people are just posting in the wrong spot or if the issue just got overlooked.

It’s been in the game since the betas, yeah.

It’s either been overlooked or they deem it a low priority fix.

It did work during some of the betas. Wonder what changed to break it.

I remember reporting it bugged in the betas, but I can’t remember which one.

But yes, it feels like there was a dynamic event there at some point (that possibly contested the waypoint), which they removed but didn’t remove the mobs spawning.

As the waypoint is still accessible and the area is not tied to any Hearts or skill points, they’ve probably deemed it a low priority fix. Which is a shame, because I’d really like to see the dynamic event it presumably links to. (I imagine it’s supposed to be the next event after you escort the Pack Mossheart there.)
