Serious Error when closing game/logging off
I keep having the same problem, did you ever find a solution?
I’ve started to have this problem (YAY FOR 2 YEAR OLD BUMP) any solutions?
Yeah its always crashed for me on exit, but the dialogue disappears before I can see why it crashed and I cant find any logs for it either. But considering it doesnt appear to affect anything I dont really care.
The only thing I thought might be causing it is I run the steam overlay
Yes thats the same for me, I’ve disabled a number of other processes recently so I guess it might be something to do with that but I highly doubt it if you’re having the same issue.
Unfortunately due to not being able to see the report we can’t help support further.
Not that they have given any response here at all in over 2 years ^-^"
No reply to this still :/ I know it’s not game breaking but shutting the client down every time gives me a serious error is a bit annoying.

I don’t have any answers, but just wanted to mention that I use the overlay (as in, I actively use it to browse and chat during GW2 sessions, not just “I run GW2 through Steam”) and haven’t had this issue. I’ve had the odd crash since launch, yes, but not repeated crashes on exit.
Without knowing how to decode the crash dump, I will add that I use Windows 7 64-bit, not sure if that makes any difference whatsoever. If you have a different OS, there may be a conflict somewhere with the way Steam’s overlay is implemented.
Good luck.

Nah, Im on Win 7 64-bit as well. I remember trying to find a crash dump but I couldn’t find any. Havent noticed it crashing lately on exit, but I could just be so used to it Im not noticing it
I am getting this error now. Can anyone help?
