Server time not chaning ingame but on my pc
Bump. Anyway I can get a little help on this please? Is anyone else having this problem. I’ll go in a little deeper. The first time I changed it to server time in my game, it worked fine, no problem. I did this to know that Marionette comes up every even hour. Then several days later I realized she wasn’t coming up every even hour for me anymore and it was every odd hour. I tried turning server time off, changed it to local time (when I did this, the local time didn’t change any different from server time), and tried putting it back on server time and nothing changed. Everyone said it was still every even hour server time. I minimized my game and my Personal Computer’s time was an hour off from my actual time, an hour earlier to be precise. Now everytime I start up Guild Wars 2, the server time is an hour off off, and my computer is the actual server time. Nutty, I know. Help would be awesome, thanks.
I am not sure what you mean, are you changing your own PC time to server time?
I am in the netherlands playing on piken square. when i play GW2 my local time is 22:00 but server time is 21:00. I understand you changed your own PC local time towards server time? in my case i would turn my clock 1 hour back. from 22:00 to 21:00.
And then according to your own PC clock you would goto events that should appear at that time? if theory that should work when you know they spawn, so i dont know what happens.
but if you watn to know if a world/event is up you could look at www.gw2stuff.com and select your server at top left and then just regular check, or have it display on a secondairy monitor
There is no way changing between server time and local time in-game should affect your PC clock. If you continue to have issues, you might try submitting a Technical Support ticket and ask for assistance. Top of Page – Support – Submit a Request. Good luck.
Gunner….lol. Sorry for the confusion but no, I am not personally changing my own PC time to server time. When I change the time in the game to server time, instead it changes my computer’s time, and the game stays at local time. I know, It’s odd and seems like it shouldn’t happen but it is happening, I assure you. Cedo, I’ll try for a ticket then >.<.
Good luck, sound very odd xD
