This is really bad guys. And you never release a statement to the community telling us anything which makes it look like you don’t care.

This is the third night this week where me and everyone on GoM lags out as the servers crash. It makes the game unplayable. We all sit on TeamSpeak asking why we even bother. Seriously you are going to lose customers if they can’t even access your product. People can’t buy gems if they can’t even log into the game.

It’s because you don’t look in the right place. They do care. Some problems just take longer to fix. Calm yourself.

First off, they shouldn’t be publishing statements on third party sites and not on their own forums where people will go when something is wrong. Second of all, that was on February 11th. They didn’t acknowledge that they fixed it, that they needed more time, etc. Two more nights of crashes later and still no word.

And I work in IT, if we did this to a customer we would lose a client over this much downtime. Sure problems take time to fix, but that’s why you have redundancy built in and BCP/DR plans. And most importantly you communicate with the customers continuously. None of which they are doing….

Well then I would suggest seeing the ‘tech’ support side of the forum (https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/support/tech) instead of game bugs, if my “third-party” link doesn’t help. Twitter is definitely my favorite way of reaching them because I usually get a reply right away. To each his/her own. Maybe you should submit a ticket to tell them how to do their jobs instead of posting it on the forum.

Their most recent status tweet was 2 days ago, and it said nothing anyway. Maybe YOU should have checked it before moaning at everyone else to.

There are LOADS of threads about this in the Tech forum, with no official answers in any of them – that’s how I ended up here in Game Bugs, looking for an answer!!

Lol never moaned. I’m just saying, if you aren’t getting the answers you’re looking for, look for other sources. If not, there’s nothing we can do. All I know is that they’re trying to fix it. How fast, who knows. They’re not posting updates.

What are we doing wrong? Absolutely nothing.
