Set bonus frome runes missing?
Can you also notify the skill and/or trait/sigil you are using to apply to freeze?
This may have to do with the above rather than with the runes you are using.
I do not experience this bug with various freeze/chill skills i use
I use
2x Rune of Svanir (+25 Toughness, +20% Frozen Duration)
2x Rune of the Ice (+25 Vitality, +20% Frozen Duration)
2x Rune of Sanctuary (+25 Vitality, +20% Frozen Duration)
And i get 0 % extra frosen time on my skills. If I eat some food with 20% frozen duration it works and my skill does last longer.
Chilblains and Spinal Shivers are my two most used spells and none of them get the benefits from my runes, but they did in the begining (a few mounths ago)
Anyone else having this kind of issue?
It’s been a month so I don’t know if your setup has been fixed but I am having the same issue with ranger axe skill #3 “Winter’s Bite” and the utility skill “Frost Spirit.”
I have 2x Ice and 2x Svanir, and instead of 2x Rune of Sanctuary, I’m using 2x Rune of Grenth. I also have 2x Superior Sigil of Chilling on dual axes for an additional 2x 10% frozen duration. (Related bug: Major Sigil of Chilling says it gives 20% frozen duration.)
The tooltip on Winter’s Bite and Frost Spirit don’t update to reflect any additional chill duration, and I can’t see any effect.
When I eat a veggie pizza (+16% condition duration), however, at least the tooltips update to reflect a slightly longer duration.

i am having the same problem. i put 6 Superior runes of Grenth into my Armors, and it is supposed to increase my chill duration for 20%.
But my Winter’s bite, and Frost trap chill duration does not increase. Also, the chill duration in the skill tootip did not change as well.
Hope the debug team saw this post, and fix these bugs as soon as possible.
Good thing I found this thread. I also have the same problem. My rune set up are:
2 Superior rune of Grenth
2 Superior rune of Svanir
2 Superior rune of Ice
This should increase my chill duration by 60%, however I don’t see an increase in the base chill duration on skills like spinal shivers or chillblains. I tested it on enemies and the chill duration is exactly the same as when I unequip all my armors.
The stat bonuses (+toughness, +condition dmg, +vitality) of the runes works fine and reflects in my stat sheet but the chill duration increase doesn’t seem to work.
My questions are:
1. How does the increase in chill duration from items work?
2. Does the condition duration from spite and condition duration from items add up with each other?
Thank you, hopefully someone can shed light on this.
For some additional information the skills I commonly use with chill are:
Chillblains, Spinal shivers and Spectral Grasp. I also use Sigil of Hydromancy.
