The new pre-event for Shadow Behemoth is to destroy 13 portals that spawn a variety of creatures. Alas, on my server (SoR) the portals spawned but we were unable to damage any of the portals. Auto-targeting would not select any portal, not even those who’s defenders we had killed off. I could target a portal if I double clicked on it, but still no damage to it with any of the weapons.
The event failed.

Same thing happened on Vabbi. There was a bunch of us there, but we couldn’t damage the portals. The colour of the portal health and the text was the same beige-orange used for turrets and for portals that aren’t targets yet.

Here’s what’s going on. If Shadow Behemoth roars to spawn portals and then it immediately dies, the portals stay. The portals remain indestructible until the zone has been restarted by a new game update.

From another thread: “We’ve done the pre-event
Then 13 portals spawned which we are supposed to destroy
But we cannot attack them”
So these portals seem to spawn rather than stay from previous behe event. At least that’s what this guy wrote…

Here’s what’s going on. If Shadow Behemoth roars to spawn portals and then it immediately dies, the portals stay. The portals remain indestructible until the zone has been restarted by a new game update.

Not the case on Ruins of Surmia, he never even spawns and has not spawned since the “update”. its the ending of the pre-event13 portholes you have to kill to get him to spawn that are not working… I have heard on other servers they have got Behe to spawn, but then he spews his portholes and dies and the thing you speak of then happens. :/ I think its safe to say they broke him with half the game. :/

Ditto n Tarnished coast. Just did the ale delivery, the helped ettins with portals, and the SB’s purple cloud spawned and a bunch of unkillable portals. Event failed.
