1 Mystic Coin
1 Pile of Crystalline Dust
1 Master’s Salvage Kit

As soon as I put in the shard it fades out the other components.

Glob to vial seems to work fine.

Did you try putting the ingredients in a different order? Order usually doesn’t matter but the MF is occassionally stupid and wants you to put a specific ingredient in first. By occasionally I do not mean for different recipes, it happens even with a recipe that is known to work.

Yeah, I tried different orders. As soon as I put in one of the other components it fades out the shard. With all 4 in there the “Forge” button is still disabled.

Weird. I deposited my stuff and zoned out, when I zoned back I thought I’d give it another shot, and this time it worked. How odd.

Lag can also do that. I notice mainly because my ISP will frequently give me 7000+ms ping under certain conditions. The way the forge seems to work is that when you put an item in the client darkens everything then sends a message to the server and the server responds a list of items to light up again. Under normal circumstances it happens fast enough that it looks like it just darken the invalid stuff.
