I have a problem doing shift+click to a place in the map, to show the name of that place in chat.

Sometimes it shows a wrong name, example, I shift+click “Klovan Post”, but the chat shows “Quentin Post”. I then need to repeat the action and it shows the right one (plus apologies in chat for calling a wrong place in WvW, very annoying)

Not sure if this only happens if you have the game in a different language (not english), maybe, because I ask to people in chat if they have the problem and no one answer.

I have never had the issue and I’ve never seen people reporting it. I play with several people who use non-English settings.

I would recommend you contact support with a few specific examples. It’s possible there is something wrong with the database file on your computer (gw2.dat) and repairing or replacing would resolve the issue.

Is not that (corruption, etc), I mean, I can click the same “point of interest” 100 times and it will show the correct name on chat, but if I play 1 hour without opening the map, it’s possible the very first shift+click I do shows wrong name in chat, the problem is the map, not the chat, because I could even see the wrong name on map too. I think is something like “lag” on map not updating the name of the previous mouse over.
