Guild Wars 2

After destroying the risen ships and hearing that the Windfall has sunk, you are supposed to rescue the crew. However, upon reaching the green marked area, there is no sunken ship nor any friendly NPC’s save for one dead agent of the Orders of Whispers, who is stuck in a wall and cannot be revived.

Are there any workarounds for this at the moment?

Submitted a ticket, no reply as of yet. Can’t finish personal story due to this bug. Can’t find any moderator stickies or anything about it either. Bumping to draw attention to this. Surely I cannot be the only one.

Fixed as of the third of december update. Though there was a severe lack of feedback on this bug, I’m glad that the game developers fixed it. Thanks!

This actually has not been fixed for me at least. I have never attempted this quest until today and 3 attempts so far all have produced a single order member (which one varies) that is dead. Cannot proceed.

Rescue the crew of the windfall. It’s exactly as the OP’s screenshot shows for me.

Hey, just to let you know I’m experiencing the same bug. My quest objective is rescue the crew of the windfall, and I’m unable to find anyone other than the one priory member stuck in the wall.

I am also experiencing the same issue as the OP. Firs time I saw exactly the way the OP is showing with the image. The second time I can’t find the npcs anywhere. I send in a Bug report but who knows when this will be fixed.

I know this is an ancient thread, but elite warbanner warriors have a way around this – granted it takes forever, but it will work. Line the warrior up with the party member you’re reviving, and summon the warbanner. Its revive works in an AoE and works on NPCs as well. Due to NPC placement, you may have to wait for the cooldown for each revive, but it sure beats not being able to progress.
