Even if the option is off, it shows NPC names from far away.

This is with the options on.

It shows the names of anything outside of the fade-in distance, most likely intended (albeit very stupid, OFF should mean OFF). Most of the performance benefits from low culling settings are negated because of the laggy nameplates of every single player and npc.

My husband and I have the same issue. I hope they fix it – that should NOT be the intended function.
