I am from Crystal Dessert and tried to cap a shrine for the daily, usually no problem. Today though even though I capped the shrine from beginning to end, the daily wouldn’t complete.

I had the same issue, and submitted an in-game bug report. It looks like when you switched WvW Borderlands from Desert back to Alpine, you didn’t restore Master of Ruins in place of Master of Monuments or make ruins count as Monuments.

I tried to do several Alpine Ruins for the Daily Master of Monuments, but it is bugged.

+1. Text in the daily description is updated to ”Capture 1 ruin or shrine in any of the wvw borderlands” but the achieve itself is bugged.

I can confirm this daily is bugged on Jade Quarry too, i just done not one, but 4 ruins and none of them counted, combined with the activity npcs bugged in both LA and airship, i’m unable to complete my daily, as i don’t have the time to do that ridiculously long Jumping Puzzle in Malchor Leap. I hope we get credit for this since since we have done it, once it’s fixed.

Bugged for me as well on Aurora Glade.

..would be nice to get a fix for this… oh wait its not a gemstore item :/

This is a bug that ANet has been aware of since the FIRST day that Alpine BLs were returned. They have done NOTHING to fix it except say that it’s “being looked into”. Since they KNOW it’s broken, the appropriate response would be remove the daily from rotation instead of giving us 3+ weeks of broken dailies, then restore it when fixed.

Still bugged. Did 3 shrines/ruins today and didn’t get the daily.
