I was salvaging some armor bits I’ve decided not to carry around with me and my Silver Fed Salvage-O-Matic just vanished. The way a limited use salvage kit does when you use its last charge.

It was human cultural medium armor, I got the leather from it, but the kit was gone from my bags. I have searched by “Silver” in bags, it didn’t get moved. Nor was it drag/drop destroyed because the only confirmation button I pressed was the one that gave me the leather, at which point I saw the empty spot where my Silver salvager used to be.

Yes, I’ve submitted a ticket, but don’t expect it to be seen soon given how full up Support must be. I’ll make a Mystic kit to carry to the jungle for yellow salvages until this is resolved but it’s an unsettling feeling to have an infinite item go poof and others might want to know this could happen.

Check your bank. It’s probably there.

You’re right. I did have my bank open at the time but I had my Preview and Inventory open on top of it so nothing I did should have sent it there.

It’s not you — there’s a bug from a recent patch that causes any salvage kit that you are re-using to spontaneously move to the bank (and interestingly: it will move back again if you continue to use the kit).

With luck it gets solved with today’s “minor” update.

Gee and here I thought I was imagining things or having strange memory issues not remembering putting my copper fed salvage kit in bank.

Wow! Seriously? Hahahah that’s a silly bug! It happened to me and I thought I had purposefully sent it to my bank, but there you go…
