In the Silverwastes there is the pack bull in northeastern silverwastes (north exit of Camp Resolve) that is always stuck next to the vista. The bull just stands there shaking its head as if it’s being attacked when it clearly isn’t. It seems to stand there like this indefinitely. It is the bull that goes to Indigo Cave. “Escort Supplies to Indigo Cave” and it’s stuck with the objective being “Drive back the Mordrem”.

I suspect it’s only a certain server IP address it happens to since I’m not seeing this happen all the time.

I’ve seen this happen so many times that its not funny anymore. Plz Anet fix this bug so that Indigo Cave supplies isn’t crippled in our fight for freedom from the dragons.

Solution: if you ever see it again pull a foe to it let it die and fail, then it will fix itself with a new bull. Not that hard people!

The problem is I think this is being done on purpose by some people that are doing the “chest farm” so that less events occur so they can farm longer.

I had noticed it doing the head shaking and not moving and had made an “Alert” map message indicating it was bugged and please let it die and I was told “Alert this is a chest farm map”.

So it could be that someone is doing it on purpose.

I have seen this happen all too often with this supply bull as well. The enemy mordrem that are suppose to spawn at this ambush point do not even show up. Getting the bull killed with the nearby enemies so event resets also does not fix it. This has been happening ever since the Point of No Return update. I suspect it is in part caused by the giant vine that is right next to the bull.

There usually aren’t too many enemies in the immediate area is the problem, though. There’s a Devourer that spawns down a ways and you can sometimes drag a few of the enemies from Indigo that way, but I’ve never had much success getting them to actually move that far and attack the bull, they usually give up and go back before that point.

I’m convinced the entire last spawn of enemies for this event is bugged, honestly. The fact that sometimes no enemies spawn at all and the event gets completely stuck is the biggest issue, of course, but I’ve also see times when only 1 enemy will spawn, where pretty much every other spawn for every other bull spawns at least 2 at a time. Something is messed up with the spawn code for the event.

The chest farm can be done regardless of events. The reply sounds more like “we don’t care”.

It’s possible the event designers had an oversight in how the vines affect the escort bulls. The indigo bull from Red Bastion will also perform a long elaborate circle around one of the vines, then teleport to its first location that enemies spawn at. The Amber bull is not affected as much.
