So, I’m going to try to tell this story as coherently as possible since the circumstances surrounding it are pretty whack.

My guild went to do the Guild Rush event today after the weekly reset. It ended up being Spider Scurry. Oh boy. But poorly designed track and ludicrous amounts of dredge enemies aside, our guild arrived in the numbers we could muster and we triggered the Guild Rush proper so that the timer went off and we could start the race. Some time later, we had completed the Guild Rush according to the 15/15 counter that appears on the side of one’s screen during the rush’s active period. However, when the Guild Rush ended we didn’t get credit for it (even though people still got commendations). Baffled by this, we ended up triggering a whole other Guild Rush for ourselves. We again completed that one, and that time we ended up receiving merits for it.

There was another guild at the time also doing their Spider Scurry Guild Rush sort of in tandem with us. We rationalized our failure as us having accidentally completing the other guild’s Guild Rush even after having activated our own Guild Rush. The second time that we did our Guild Rush and actually received merits for it, there were no other guilds around.

Is this a thing? Is that the issue? I don’t really know how to explain what happened, but all we know is that our guild triggered a Guild Rush (we received Spider Scurry), the options to activate it appeared at the proper location, we completed it successfully according to the parameters of the challenge and then we did not receive any merits for our task. That in itself is a bug. Again, our theory is that we somehow managed to do another guild’s Guild Rush and ours ended up not counting, but in the end the whole situation is a mystery to me.

Anyone care to explain what happened there?

its happened to us before although both guilds had the same rush before it was activated, both guilds got the merits if it was started after both guilds and activated the upgrade
