Guild Wars 2

I’ve been trying to enter World vs World on one of my characters tonight, and it either hangs on the loading screen entirely or connects me and then refuses to take and commands (can’t move/cast) before disconnecting.

All other characters on my account are able to enter fine – quickly and without issue -but on the one character this occurs regardless of which of the 4 World vs World zones I attempt to join. This happened a few weeks ago but went away fairly quickly so I didn’t think anything further.

I’ve tried restarting my internet connection and restarting the game, it is only this one character that has the issue – and is currently the character I am maining in world vs world much to my dismay. Just in case, I have tried moving to another zone before entering

I seem to be encountering a similar issue, but it seems to be affecting my whole account. I’ve just redownloaded my .dat file for the game, and deleted my local account .dat file as well, with no luck.

My issue seems to be that after waiting a short while and then I hear music and what sounds like waves. And it just hangs there in a loading screen with that sound effects.

Really unenjoyable to experience it.

Yes the sound effects occur as well, occasionally there is a point where it seems to load me into an intermediate state/place – on a cliff in the north for EB and near the ruins for BL’s – then back onto loading screen again. That’s normally where the sound effects begin for me.

Character gets into WvW, but cannot cast abilities and eventually disconnects. All other characters are fine.

Yes—I occasionally have this issue, as does one of my guildies. I’ve gone through a process with customer support but it was inconclusive. I have more than 900 hours played just fine with my other 7 characters, and this one character has all the problems. It seems like a connection problem but it makes no sense it’s just one character. Infuriating.

I wish I could tell you what it is or what to do, but I have no idea. I just gave up playing that character. I hope you have more luck than me.

Same issue this week (and last week although I didn’t post). Only occurs at resets.

I’ve been running around on a lowbie alt just fine, no casting problems or loading problems – try change to my (new as of 3 weeks ago) main, and I get a long loading time followed by being totally incapable of casting any abilities, endurance doesn’t drop etc so it appears to just disconnect entirely when I load the character.

Going through keep gates on any of the characters seems to cause the issue as well, but it is again ONLY at reset – I’m on the lowest populated world and can play the rest of the week without hassle :/
