I bought a grandmaster skill manual the other day and it does not work. I have tried multiple ways to get it to work but it will not reset my trait points.

You reset your trait points by talking to the NPC that you got your manual from and pay a small fee.
Check your trait screen too see if you already unlocked the grandmaster traits, do you meet the level requirement?
