As a thief, underwater, armed with a spear, the skill ‘Shadow Assault’ should evade while active. It used to, until the update I recently received. Now, there is no evade while the skill is active and I am receiving damage while using the skill. Basically, the skill is broken.

I should add that I am in the ‘Breaking The Bone Ship’ story quest (lvl 68) area. I don’t know if it’s area related, but this whole story quest is underwater combat. So needless to say, a complete lack of evade makes completion unachievable.

I can confirm that it is just this zone. For some bizarre reason, ‘evade’ does not activate on the Shadow Assault skill in the ‘Breaking The Bone Ship’ story quest area.

Can someone confirm or have I lost the plot?

Risen Pirates that “Steal health” seem to steal your health fine through evade, and it hurts a lot. Use the skill 3 against them instead.

It’s the Giant Risen Shark that hurts. 8k damage on charge and no way of evading as skill doesnt work on them.

Really old topic but just now this happened to me in Bloodtide Coast, doing the heart Help Arm the Quaggun.

I know for sure the skill was working before even earlier today but just now against the Risen both Shadow Assault and Flanking Strike were not evading at all. While the skill was active/I was supposed to be evading, I was taking full damage from every hit that swung at me.
