I would like to draw your attention to a problem with the clarity of text when using the “small” setting on the interface size when it comes to reading the Black Lion Trading Post.

I run the game on 1900×1200 res on my desktop and on my laptop but I like my interface small, so I set it to small from the options. The problem is that this makes the text in the trading post (and others like the crafting window) practically illegible even at the full screen res. The chat window is mostly unaffected although it is not as smooth as it should be.

It almost looks like the game is scaling it as a picture and therefore there is pixel loss in the lettering rather than scaling it as text and smoothing out the pixels for readability.

I will attach the screenshot I took later tonight when I get home from work.

It doesn’t matter which screen resolution you use. It’s simply a matter of which font/font size they’ve used on the different pages for the Trader. I’ve allready sent an ingame bug report about this with an attached screenshot.

Your guess about the scaling as picture rather than as font could be a good guess. It ‘feels’ like that when you look at it

I agree. Same problem for me and my resolution is 1360×768. Wish I could attach screenshots to other people’s posts to show how bad it is. I’ll make my own thread I guess.
